  96. 1.4 PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

  98.     A.  Fire Resistance:  Provide vinyl siding, soffit, and
  99.         accessories that meet or exceed the following ratings:
  100.         1.  Flame spread 15, fuel contributed 0, smoke developed
  101.             390, when tested in accordance with ASTM E 84.
  102.         2.  Average time of burning:  Less than 5 seconds, per
  103.             ASTM D 635.
  104.         3.  Average extent of burning:  Less than 25 mm, per ASTM
  105.             D 635.
  106.         4.  Flash ignition temperature:  807 degrees F, per ASTM

  414. 3.1 EXAMINATION

  420.         work of this section until unacceptable substrate
  421.         conditions have been corrected.

  423. 3.2 INSTALLATION

  425.     A.  Install siding, soffits and accessories in strict
  426.         accordance with "Rigid Vinyl Siding Application Manual."

  428.     B.  Upon completion of installation, visually inspect for
  429.         defective installation procedures or manufacturing
  430.         defects.  Replace and repair components as necessary.

  432. 3.3 CLEANING

  434.     A.  Upon completion of installation, clean siding and soffits
  435.         to remove all foreign debris and soiling.  Remove
  436.         packaging and waste material from project site.
